If you’re trying to negotiate a claim with the insurance company and they make you a settlement offer, they’re going to try to give you an amount that gets rid of you. That’s all they want to do. The real question becomes: do you have serious injuries that could be long-term? It’s really hard for you to assess your injuries and the value of an offer unless you know what your injuries are medically. Unless you have a medical report that says you’re absolutely fine, I think you should be hesitant to settle a case.
