Riding season is just around the corner, so it is time to make sure that we are doing our part to ensure that all of our communities’ motorcycle enthusiasts can enjoy the open road as safely as possible. This year, we are partnering with Johnny K’s Powersports to help us give back to our riders, as well as two wonderful charitable organizations
Why We Do This
Every year, motorcycle riders are injured or lose their lives to reckless drivers that share the road with them. We are here to help promote safe driving practices for both motorcycle riders and the automobile drivers on the road, so everyone knows exactly what to do and how to keep motorcycle riders safe.
Not only are we here to promote motorcycle safety, but we are also going to be raising money with help from Johnny K’s Powersports for two charities local to the Youngstown area: Ashlin’s Alliance and Every Dog Matters.
Ashlin’s Alliance is a charity whose goal is to raise funding and awareness for pediatric cancer research. Through their annual Lady Bug Run and Shave Youngstown events, among contributions to other charitable causes in the Youngstown area, they are fighting tooth and nail to bring us closer to curing childhood cancers and giving children the opportunity to grow up and live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives.
Every Dog Matters is a local animal shelter that takes in dogs and helps them find good homes. These passionate individuals work tirelessly to make sure dogs that have been neglected, disregarded, and otherwise mistreated are nursed back to health, cared for, and given better lives through rescue, foster, training, and adoption.
What We Are Doing
This year as part of our efforts to promote motorcycle safety and raise money for charities, in collaboration with Johnny K’s Powersports, we are going to be giving away a brand new 2025 Scout Bobber in a raffle to raise money for the aforementioned charities.
Not only this, but we are also going to be giving away 4 Grand Prizes as part of a sweepstakes in collaboration with Johnny K’s Powersports. This sweepstakes is free to join, entry available at all 4 Johnny K’s Dealership locations. Additional entries can be obtained by:
- Scheduling a service at a Johnny K’s location
- Purchasing a motorcycle or other vehicle at a Johnny K’s location
- Purchasing riding gear at a Johnny K’s location
Johnny K’s 4 Store Tour Bike Run
The Grand Prizes will be given away, along with the drawing of our 2025 Scout Bobber raffle, at the Johnny K’s 4 Store Tour Bike Run on September 26th, 2026. Taking everyone from Niles to Elyria, this bike run will cap off our riding season with food trucks, live entertainment, and more waiting for our riders at the end of the ride.
Registration will take place at the Johnny K’s dealership in Niles at 10:00 AM, with kickstands up at noon. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided to all riders, $20 per bike to register. Keep an eye out for more information soon to come!
Throttle Stop Cookouts
That’s not the only event we will be having either. Each Johnny K’s location will host a Throttle Stop Cookout throughout the summer. Stop by at these dealerships on the following dates for food, music, deals, and promotions:
- Niles – April 11th 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Bedford – May 2nd 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Lodi – June 20th 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Elyria – July 25th 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
And So Much More!
Don’t worry, we didn’t forget about all of our other friends in the motorcycle community! We will also be present at many other bike runs and events to help out with numerous amazing causes and help riders stay safe along the way. You can see us helping out the Wings Over the Valley Toy Drive Run, Teddy Foltz Bike Run, 360 Veterans Poker Run, weekly Bike Nites at Austintown Quaker Steak & Lube, and many more! You will even find us at St. Baldricks Shave Youngstown event, where we will have a representative from our law firm lose his locks to help raise money for pediatric cancer research.
Help Us Support Our Community
It is a great honor for us to be able to help so many wonderful local businesses and organizations make our community a better place. But we can’t do it without all of you! Help us by showing your support. Put a “watch for motorcycles” sign in your yard or bumper sticker on your car and come out to these events to help us raise money for charity.
