My name is Bill Jones, and I’m with the Gervelis Law Firm out of the Columbus office. My duties are—I am the investigator for the Gervelis Law Firm from the Columbus office, and I cover pretty much most of Central Ohio. What I do is: when a prospective client calls in seeking representation, I first pull the accident report and review it. Then I contact the client and discuss with them what Gervelis Law Firm does. If they want to retain us as their firm, then I gather additional information and set up the case in the computer, where it’s assigned to an attorney or a paralegal. As far as my background goes in accident investigation—I’m a former State Highway Patrolman here in Ohio. We received extensive accident training at the Highway Patrol Academy, and I’ve been stationed at various posts throughout Ohio. So, I’m extremely familiar with the entire state and all the counties in Ohio. I was fortunate enough to be selected to attend Northwestern University’s Traffic Institute for Advanced Accident Investigation, which was well worth it. I’ve been with Gervelis Law Firm for quite some time, and they are an extremely great law firm that does an extremely great job for everyone.
